You've got to have standards...

This by far is the #1 question in all my core classes:

"What coding standards and naming conventions should I be using?"

I've been teaching VB for a pretty long time...since version 3.0.  Back then, most Microsoft courseware would at least have a few blurbs here and there about what naming convention to use such as Hungarian, etc.  Lately, there is an obvious lack of information about this subject.

Here is a link to a pretty good reference that I think most students will find useful:  VB.NET coding standards  Now of course, your company might have their own standards but at least this will be a good starting point.
