How to Import IE 11 Favorites into Microsoft Edge Browser
After upgrading from Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 the default browser will be the Microsoft Edge browser. Even though IE 11 is still available you want to use the Edge browser and will want access to your IE 11 favorites inside the Edge browser. In this blog I will walk you through the both ways to import your favorites.
For instructor-led Windows 10 Training, see our class schedule.
First method:
Step 1: Open the Edge browser.
Step 2: Click on the Ellipse in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Click on Settings.
Step 4: Click on Import favorites from another browser.
Step 5: Ensure Internet Explorer is selected and click Import.
Second Method:
Step 1: Open the Edge browser.
Step 2: Click on the Hub.
Step 3: Click on Favorites.
Step 4: Click Import Favorites.
Step 5: Ensure Internet Explorer is selected and click Import.
After you have completed either method 1 or 2 your IE favorites will now be available in the Microsoft Edge browser.
Until next time, RIDE SAFE!
