Interface Technical Training has just released three brand new Windows PowerShell Video Training courses featuring one of the industry’s most-recognized experts, Microsoft PowerShell MVP Don Jones. Jones is known for his numerous books, articles, blogs, and magazine columns, and is one of the most in-demand and popular PowerShell presenters at technical conferences around the world.

“This was a very exciting project,” Jones said. “The production quality of this product is incredibly high. Every video is in full high-definition, not the usual 800×600 miniature size. I was able to literally go through my entire 5-day class, walking through every concept and every demonstration. Whether you’re a PowerShell beginner or are looking to add scripting and tool making skills to your arsenal, this is the way to go.”
The video courses are designed to be an additional training option offered at Interface Technical Training. Each course is closely matched to the actual Instructor-Led Courses by the same name. Interface will continue adding new video courses enabling Jones and other hand-selected technical experts to continually add more content. Further, Interface has also developed a DrillBits™ Video Library, a series of “point-solution” training product consisting of learning videos each under ten minutes in duration. DrillBits™ teach solution-based techniques inside technologies that tradition training curriculum doesn’t address. “I’ve already filmed a number of supplemental videos that cover ‘gotchas’ and some of PowerShell’s more difficult concepts,” Jones said. “As new versions of PowerShell arrive, it’ll be easy to add and update content, offering a perpetual, fine-grained learning experience for students.” Other future additions to the PowerShell video courses will include domain-specific administrative tasks focused on SharePoint, Active Directory, IIS, Exchange, and more.
“I’ve made numerous forays into video training for PowerShell,” Jones added. “This is the one I’m most proud of. Interface’s production process made it easy for me to capture the essence of what I do: Make PowerShell easy to understand through practical examples and concise demos. The production values make these a real joy to watch and you can move through the material at your own pace. I really think this sets a new standard.”
